- ACTIVITIES - Most schools are taking a couple of weeks off. Be careful. Bowling, bouncy houses, and trampoline parks (if they are open) are probably not good ideas. The American Heart Association has repeatedly said that a brisk 2 mile walk is one of the most effective activities to prevent heart disease, diabetes and obesity. Take your kids on one! It is outside, low risk of exposure to anything but a raindrop and a mosquito bite.
- GYMS - This is a hard one. We all want to get the workout in. Just make sure you are wiping equipment down with a bleach-based wipe/solution and ask your gym what their cleaning protocol(s) are. No one wants to see any of the fitness centers go away, so help them help you!
- PHARMACIES - Make your list, go in, and get out. It’s not that any one of us are trying to be a danger to others. With this outbreak, you need a plan. Execute it and get yourself and others home safe. It’s not a time for window shopping.
